Students will have the opportunity to meet and converse with SGA senators at the second annual Meet Your Senator Day today outside the SGA office in the Ferguson Center on the second floor.
The event is organized by SGA Senator Meg McCrummen. McCrummen, a sophomore majoring in history and French, said she encourages all students to attend and talk to any of the senators about their ideas or concerns.
“Most importantly we want to be available and accessible to students. We want to hear your opinions and concerns,” McCrummen said. “Please come and talk to us about anything.”
The event will start at 10 a.m. and representatives will be positioned at a booth till 3 p.m.
“I think when we are visible to the student body we are more effective,” said McCrummen.
“We organized this day in order to allow casual conversation between SGA and students. We hope everybody will spend a minute and come chat with us.”
Hot chocolate and doughnuts will be served.
